Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a return, your item must:

  • Be returned within 30 days of the delivery date
  • Be in its original condition (unused, unopened, or in original packaging)
  • Include all original packaging, accessories, and documentation
  • Not be damaged due to misuse or normal wear and tear

How to Initiate a Return

To start a return, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us: Email us at me@wordology.ca with your order number and reason for return. You can also use our contact form.
  2. Receive Return Authorization: We'll send you a Return Authorization (RA) number and return shipping instructions within 1-2 business days.
  3. Package Your Return: Securely package the item(s) in the original packaging if possible, including all accessories and documentation.
  4. Ship the Return: Send the package to the return address provided in your return authorization email. We recommend using a trackable shipping method.
  5. Receive Refund: Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll process your refund within 5-7 business days.

  • Defective or Damaged Items: We cover return shipping costs
  • Wrong Item Received: We cover return shipping costs
  • Customer Preference Returns: Customer is responsible for return shipping costs

Once we receive your returned item:

  • We'll inspect the item within 2-3 business days
  • If approved, we'll process your refund within 5-7 business days
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method
  • You'll receive an email confirmation when the refund is processed

What Will Be Refunded?

  • Full Refund: Product price (original purchase amount)
  • Original Shipping: Refunded if the item was defective or wrong item received
  • Return Shipping: Not refunded unless we made an error

Note: Refunds may take 5-10 business days to appear in your account, depending on your bank or credit card company's processing time.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Items returned after 30 days from delivery
  • Items that have been used, damaged, or altered
  • Items missing original packaging or accessories
  • Digital products or downloadable content (unless defective)
  • Items purchased during special sales or promotions (unless otherwise stated)

Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us immediately. We will:

  • Send a replacement item at no cost to you
  • Provide a prepaid return label for the damaged item
  • Process a full refund if you prefer

Please include photos of the damage or defect when contacting us, as this helps us process your claim faster.

Pre-Order Cancellations

Pre-orders can be cancelled at any time before the item ships. Once a pre-order item has shipped, our standard 30-day return policy applies. To cancel a pre-order, simply contact us with your order number.

Exchanges

We currently do not offer direct exchanges. If you'd like a different item, please return the original item for a refund and place a new order for the item you'd like. This ensures you receive the correct item and allows us to process your request more efficiently.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven't received your refund after 10 business days:

  • Check your bank account or credit card statement
  • Contact your bank or credit card company (processing times vary)
  • If still not received, contact us with your order number and we'll investigate

Return Address

The return address will be provided in your Return Authorization email. Please do not send returns to our business address without prior authorization, as this may delay processing.
